McCarthys was appointed to deliver a fast-track project at Kimal PLC’s Bromsgrove facility, transforming existing office space into a modern employee kitchen and breakout area, alongside the refurbishment of staff toilets and meeting rooms.

The scope included ceiling replacement, mechanical and electrical service upgrades, plus installation of new doors, decoration and flooring; all of which were carried out within a live manufacturing and packing environment. Kimal’s specialised procedure packs and vascular access devices are critical to hospitals worldwide, meaning any contamination risk had to be eliminated. Through careful planning and dust control measures, McCarthys maintained strict standards that allowed Kimal’s operations to continue without disruption.
