McCarthys was appointed by Birmingham Metropolitan to deliver enhancement works to the main entrance plaza of Matthew Boulton College.
The scope included modifying the existing parking layout to improve access and flow, installation of new external furniture, enhanced feature planting and green wall installations, upgraded lighting systems, and landscape improvements to create an attractive, modern public-facing space.
Outcomes:
- A more welcoming entrance plaza
- Enhanced appearance and biodiversity through landscaping
- Better circulation, safety, and usability for pedestrians and vehicles
