McCarthys delivered a fast-track Cat B fit-out to create a Clinical Research Facility for NeuroClin, operating under a strict 9-week programme from instruction to occupation.
The works included consultation rooms, laboratories, nurse stations, changing rooms, a pharmacy, a kitchen in the breakout area, and a welcoming reception. McCarthys undertook full mechanical and electrical design and installation, partitions, ceilings, fire doors and windows, flooring, decoration, bespoke joinery, furniture, signage, and manifestation.
Outcomes:
- Delivery of a fully operational clinical research facility
- Fully fitted consultation, laboratory and support spaces meeting client and regulatory requirements
- Bespoke fit-out, including furniture, joinery and M&E systems
This was Neuroclin’s first regional patient hub, with the challenges of converting a CAT A office into a medical research, consultancy room facility. Through detailed surveys of the existing space and MEP, McCarthys were able to utilise the majority of the existing MEP to provide the client with a cost effective solution.
