McCarthys was appointed to deliver the redevelopment of Stratford-upon-Avon College’s Block F, as part of a wider campus consolidation programme designed to optimise the college’s estate and improve operational efficiency.

Project scope included the full design and refurbishment of Block F, consisting of localised internal reconfiguration, installation of new finishes, and complete renewal of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Works also included significant roofing upgrades and the construction of a new façade to the elevation where Block E had been previously demolished by others.

Outcomes:

  • Improved functionality, appearance, and longevity of the campus estate
  • Delivery of a high-quality facility aligned with the college’s campus redevelopment strategy
  • Enhanced energy efficiency and building performance through new MEP systems and envelope improvements
  • Completion within a live learning environment with minimal disruption to staff and students

McCarthys delivered outstanding results within budget while working closely with us to keep the project on programme without sacrificing safety or quality. Their skilled, adaptable and forward-thinking approach, paired with clear and consistent communication throughout, made the entire process seamless.
